To supplement or not...

For our first I was able to provide breast milk all the way to one year old. Though it was a painstaking process, it's something I'm pretty proud of. Now that the twins are six months, I've made it to my breast feeding goal with them. I asked their pediatrician about the true benefits of breastmilk for the girls now and he noted that the immunity that they get is definitely beneficial. But he did note that it probably didn't need to be 100% breastmilk.

So now the question is whether or not to supplement. I'm very conflicted about it. But the pumping seven times a day is getting very, very old. (The girls haven't actually breastfed since about 3.5 months)

Well, I just have the girls a bottle of half formula half breastmilk...and they are now sound asleep. Granted its naptime, but so far so good. I'm still pumping though :-)
