It turns out that I did ovulate. The blood work showed it to be "weak", though (my progesterone was only 9.4). The good news with that is that I got my period on my own and right on time. Or, at least, on time for my standards since I only have one other month to compare it to.
So, I have been very busy over the past week. I had to go to my new doc (the RE) to check that I could start taking the injections. Good news, I only had 20 - 30 small cysts or follicles on each ovary! That meant I could take the injections. I took my first shot on Monday. The shots aren't as bad as I thought they might be, but it's still scary to stick a needle into my stomach. The drug companies have made it pretty much error proof, so that definitely makes me feel better. Plus, the needle is so tiny! Tonight I will take one last dose of injections, and I go to the doc for blood work tomorrow (they'll be checking my E2 to determine if and how I will continue). Kinda ruins a Saturday, but oh well. I really hope that the meds are working. Please, please let them be working.
I kept myself busy over the weekend by actually painting the kitchen. I actually faux finished it and it took forever. I looks fabulous, though. I guess my next project is our study. Probably going to be another faux finishing paint job!
