Incompetent cervix (IC) is definitely the reason we lost Cooper. We found this out on Friday, the 22nd, after my 20wk U/S. My cervix has shortened from 38mm to 8mm in just 7 days. That is a really big difference considering that anything below 20mm is considered dangerous.
So, now I'm on strict bedrest. My doc allowed me to be on home bedrest (as opposed to being in the hospital) as long as I only get up for bathroom breaks and only shower every other day. Today is day 5 of bedrest. It's not the most fun thing in the world, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I guess I'll be getting a whole lot better about posting on here now.
Oohh, and on a fun note...I can definitely feel the little boy moving now. In fact, my husband has felt him too. And as I'm typing this, our son is kicking up a storm in my belly. The great thing is that I can see my shirt moving! This is so cool :-)

This makes me so sad to read this because I know the outcome. I am so so sorry.
