This is the time of day (or night if you really think about it) that our little girl has decided to make her most active. As much as I enjoy her activity, I don't understand why she couldn't pick a few daylight hours to be way active instead. And I mean, WAY active! I have full confidence in my TAC, but I swear that she kicks it so many times a night I begin to wonder. She also has this insane ability to find the one spot that is excruciating when she hits it - and hit it repeatedly. Of course, the pain is only for the second or two that she kicks...so I deal.
I'm not at all complaining. I'm so very thankful that she chooses to be active. It truly is very comforting to feel her rooting around in there. It is also distracting when I'm trying to sleep, but I guess she's just preparing me for when she is here with us. Oh, I'm going to be a ball full of fun with little to no sleep :-)
Everything else (besides my sleeping) is going well. I'm 24w6d today! It's amazing. I'm actually starting to be uncomfortable. I never thought I'd get to that point - being uncomfortable. Any suggestions as to how to make the time I do get to sleep more comfortable are definitely welcome.

Inconvenient timing, yes. But I'm so glad she likes to confirm for you that she is doing wonderfully and put your mind at ease. Your TAC is holding up great and you are on your way. Woohoo.
De-lurking here... sorry you are losing sleep but glad your little one seems to be happy in there! I bought this pregnancy pillow from target.com called the "back and belly" pillow. It was the greatest thing ever. It's pricey, and rather big, but it was pure bliss. I recommend it to everyone. I also used to take warm (not hot) baths just before bedtime and that helped with the little one breakdancing in the middle of the night. (or, just relaxed me so much I didn't notice)
I'm happy everything is progressing smoothly with your pregnancy. She will be in your arms before you know it. :)
So happy your little one is so active, but sorry its at a not-so-pleasant time! You're right, she's just making sure you're ready for her grand entrance! :)
One word for comfort: SNOOGLE. I don't know what I would do without mine.
I slept a lot in my lazy boy chair. It was very comfortable for me. Yoga also helped me.
I definatly loved the pillows that are a big C or S. It goes between your legs and then supports either your stomach or your back and then another part under your neck and head. My neighbor gave me hers and it was a lifesafter. So happy you are 25 wks tomorrow!!! W00T, W00T... you go girl!
Well thanks to a thing called imsomnia, I'm usually up around that time :) Tell baby girl to give me a call and we'll "kick" it together... ha ha ha!
I am also in support of the body pillow.
The girl was never consistent in her moving. It drove me INSANE. One night I woke up at 2 am and she was dancing a samba. Made sense why she was quiet on the drive in.
It only gets more cumbersome, but napping and taking it easy helps with the transition.
Thinking of you----Reese
Hi-
I'm glad I found your blog. I lost a baby in March @ 23 weeks due to IC. Reading these blogs have been so helpful. Though, I haven't come across a whole bunch where women have lost due to IC. I'm thinking a lot about getting pregnant again and am so scared that the cerclage won't hold up. I would like to beg my doctor to give me a TAC, but it seems that they don't do those until you have lost one with a vaginal cerclage- so sad. I am so sorry you had to experience a loss twice. That is so unfair. I will keep you in my thoughts and send you good energy. I know that you will be bringing home that little girl in August.

I detect a change in your tone friend....... I think that maybe you are beginning to relax and embrace this.
Great to hear. Great news.
Little tyke stay for quite a few more weeks!
Here's to the uncomfortable sleep! Bring it on!
I'm here cheering for you and I, too, love your TAC :)
