So I failed my one hour glucose test last week...just barely. I got the results back on Tuesday and scheduled my 3 hour test for today. That was a ton of fun...okay, not really! I got to spend 3.5 hours in my doc office today waiting for them to take my blood. Oh, and my arms are a bit sore from the 4 blood draws. But, it really wasn't that bad. I just sat in the waiting room and read a book. I talked to some of the ladies that came through for their appointments - something I couldn't have done a few months ago due to my aversion to pregnant people. I still have trouble answering the "Is this your first?" questions...but I'm getting better. I can now look at another pregnant belly and not feel complete jealousy. So, not too bad of a day.
Results on Friday maybe...don't think I have GD, but maybe.
Oh, and today is 29weeks. That's a 90% survival rate...still. Every little day...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for no GD!
I hate going to the OB now. I can't wait until I can tolerate being around other preggo's again.
Yay on the 29 week milestone! That's wonderful!!
I REALLY hope you pass the test. And good for you for tolerating the other preggo chicks! :)
Glad it went well (or as well as it could have gone). I got poked today too and the lady said to me many times (okay, just three times!) that she was "GOOD" and she bruied me, caused me pain, cut off my circulation, left me rubberband marks on my arm, then caused me to bleed all down my arm and on the table.
yeah, she was real good. ha!
Woohoo on 29 weeks!!! I think about you all the time. hang in there little one.
Bummer. I failed my 1 hour with Gregory but passed the 3 hour with flying colors. I hope the same happens to you. Yay for 29 weeks! 90% seems like such a fantastic number for a survival rate.
Fingers crossed!
