Happy baby at daycare

Lately when I leave Riley at daycare she's pretty happy. She really seems to like her morning teacher (she moves rooms at 8:30 when the other teachers get there). She grins super big each morning at this teacher. I think she gets spoiled in that room because up til recently he was the only baby in there for about 20 minutes. (Yes, it makes me sad that I drop her so early that she's the only one for a bit, but more on that later)

Now there is a brand new baby dropped off in the early morning too. Riley is jealous! When we got to daycare this morning, the teacher was holding the new (6wk old) baby. Riley just glared at her and the baby until her teacher acknowledged her. Of course, as soon as that happened she was all smiles. I'm quite grateful for the smiles. I know it won't last too much longer since she will likely get separation anxiety soon (based on her age).
