So, my ovaries are now touching! For those of you who are wondering...yes, it is a bit uncomfortable. It didn't make my doc or the nurses freak out, though, so I guess its slightly common??? Seems weird to me, but whatever gets me a baby (or babies).
I went both yesterday and today for scans. I still have a ton of follies. The biggest one was 14 yesterday with a bunch of 13.5 and like 20 of the 11.5 (I promise this means something to my fellow infertiles). My E2 was about 2200...so, doing okay. Today I was scanned by a different person, and he only saw a couple 15 and 14s. I would have expected at least a 16 today, but we'll chalk that up to the difference between the measuring styles. I go back tomorrow - fun, fun!
I left the office this morning with the nurse instructing me to "not do anything too strenuous with those ovaries"! Meaning, no super cleaning or lifting or jogging. Yep, like I would even feel like that now :-) I'll update again tomorrow. For now I'm off to drink my gallon of gatorade (to prevent OHSS - website, b/c I know my mom will want to learn: http://stirrup-queens.blogspot.com/2006/07/ohss.html)

I'm glad all is going well. I had stalling ovaries this time around, or at least I thought I did. Then my RE tells me I was right on track for our IUI.
We've done the IUI so now Im in the 2WW.
Good luck, please keep us updated. And I'm impressed the ovaries are touching, remember don't over do it. Take it easy. The first time I was on injectibles I overstimulated big time, my ovaries were the size of grapefruits and they were palpable underneath my layer of fat tissue. Scary.
Take it easy.
(((HUGS))))
i got the "kissing ovaries" after my IUI cycle last year...yep, it hurts. hang in there!
fingers crossed for you!
Glad you're sounding so hopeful. I'm hoping for you too!
Baby or babies,I hope they find their way to you.
Glad things seem to be going well with this IVF. I never did IVF, but was on an infertility board for over seven years before my losses. Your #'s sound good! I know a few ladies who had to postpone their transfer because of OHSS (sounds like you are doing the right things to avoid it, though)-- they all wound up pg! My sister did 2 FETs (donor eggs) as a gestational surrogate resulting in 2 BFPS, the second was twins. It's all gonna be good-- I just KNOW it!
I am crossing my fingers for you and sending lots of (((HUGS))) your way!
Love, Krista (mom of Angels Jordyn and Jackson)
