IVF Update #1

Today was my first doc visit for this IVF cycle...hopefully the only IVF cycle! I started the L.upron about 2.5 weeks ago, and started stims on Saturday. I was scared that I would go in today and see no response, but my body is responding. In fact, I'm responding quite well. On one side I have 13<9.5 and 29<5. The other side is 15<10 and 28<7! My E2 is up to 1150. I'd say that's an impressive response after just 4 days of stims. At least I think that's a good response. My fear that I'm now indulging is overstimulation. I'm not scared about stalling out anymore, so I had to move to the other extreme :-)

So, for my fellow infertiles, how do my numbers look? I'm a PCOSer, so I knew I'd produce a lot...we just have to keep the E2 below 6000 (that's the OHSS number, right?). My RE slightly reduced my stims, but not too much. I go back on Friday, so we will see.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering - work still sucks!

I am praying for you and your follies:). Sounds like you are responding well. What meds are you stimming with? I was on Follistim and Lupron. No matter what happens with your scans always remeber that quality is what you want. If you have any questions feel free to email me ANGELNY71@aol(dot)com.I have been through ivf 2x. you are in my thoughts.

I don't have any experience with IVF (yet), but I will be thinking about you! I know this is hard, but you seem to be doing so well. Sending good thoughts and lots of prayers your way!!
