The Moon

Was it just me, or was the moon extremely bright this morning. Or...for those who are night owls...was it way bright last night? I awoke to moon beams across my bed. (This makes sense b/c I get up before dawn. Yes, really!) At that point I just thought, "Wow, the moon is bright!" Then when I let the dogs out, it was as if the sun were up. It was just that bright. Again, I thought, "Wow, the moon is really bright!" On the way to work, in my car, I finally saw the moon. Yes, it was bright. The weird and neat thing though, I had this overwhelming sense of calm looking at it. I just knew my boys were looking down and sending me moon beams. It's hard to explain the unbelievable sense of calm and peace that I felt this morning. I really could "feel" the boys. It was wonderful.

I know that we've discussed this before, but we deadbabymamas seem to see our children in all sorts of avenues. I can say, this is the first time I've "seen" them in the moon. Typically its spiders, butterflies, and birds. What do you see your child(ren) in?

YES!! The moon was incredibly bright last night. When I went to shut the blinds last night, I could see it and it was very bright and clear. It was weird to see it like that--that early.

Even when I went to bed last night, I had to make sure I didn't leave a light on outside because the light coming through the blinds was so intense.

Our babies are everywhere. Ususally anything in two's, butterflies, dragonflies, pumpkins. I can't explain the last one :-)

Yes I noticed too!!

It was beautiful.

There are lots of things that remind me of the boys. Like Monica said, usually things that come in two's.

Sunday night I had a dream about two grasshoppers on my car. They sat there, and they wouldn't move. I thought they were the boys. I'd like to think they are, at least.

Lately we've noticed that Lily's toys will do things in two's. For instance, she has a toy dog that hangs from her carseat. You have to pull it for it to bark, but the other day we were in the car and it barked twice. Right after the other, and hasn't done it since. So that's not nature, but still made me think of them!!

It was bright. I woke up to use the bathroom and there was a beam of light shining through our window. And this morning, the moon was still there. It's absolutely beautiful.

Sunrises, sunsets, butterflies, birds and other babies. I see my Ethan in all of this. :)

Sliver moons, birds, and sunsets.

When Ronan died, my DH and I were driving home from his parents house, crying for the 100th time and there was this gigantic buzzard perched on a light post (broad daylight) showing off his wings in this gigantic awkward pose. I knew he was showing us something to distract us from the grief.

Sunsets because when he was taken away at the hospital for the last time, I walked to the window and saw the most beautiful sunset. I knew he was in the light.
