So I'm a bit delayed in this update. Everything is still fine. My cervix is still long (like 5.6cm!!!). My contractions are still going. And our little girl is still growing. In fact, she's measuring 4lb 14oz - which is in the 70th percentile. I'd say she is the reason I can't seem to get enough food these days!
She didn't really cooperate for any 3D pics, but we did get to see how limber she is again. She was touching her toe to her forehead! We also got to see rolls (yes, fat rolls) on her knee. I can't wait to kiss all over those :-)
Talking to my OB, he "hopes" that we can make it to 36weeks. To me, it doesn't sound like he thinks we'll make it that far - he's just setting the date out there for a BIG goal. He's going to discuss my situation with his partners and have more of a plan for me at my next appointment (this week). The tentative plan is to take me off the meds completely at 35weeks and let nature take its course. If my contractions continue without meds, we'll be having a 35 weeker. Honestly, I'm not too worried. At this point, we are so much further than 21weeks that it's a true blessing to me. I'm so excited and can't wait to meet our little girl, but of course I'm doing all I can to keep her in there and give her the healthiest start possible.
