Clarification

First off, thank you all for your comments yesterday. It really has made me feel better. Truthfully I was feeling quite self-involved...but your comments helped me see I wasn't alone or crazy. Even wonderful Manda commented - THANK YOU.

I definitely don't mean to detract from what is going on with Manda at all. What she is going through is beyond comprehension. I know that there are many similarities in that we have both lost two babies...but she was almost to the "finish line" with Logan. I just can't imagine. The rug was pulled out from under her. It's just not fair.

My post was really about people seeming to forget - this even includes other deadbabymamas. People get blinded by their own lives, and deadbabymamas get blinded by new losses. It's just part of what comes with the territory. We stay up to date on everything and anything that can happen...and we want to help a new member in any way possible. Sometimes, our "old faithful" members get lost in the wake. So, don't forget those people around you that have gone through this - I don't believe the hurt will ever go away, it just seems we get better at disguising it.
